Michelle Saylors is a New England based Singer, songwriter, guitarist.  Michelle was raised on a 30-acre farm in bible-belt Tennessee. Early musical inspirations include bluegrass, gospel, country, folk and Memphis blues. Michelle is self-taught guitar and mandolin.  She began performing in her early teens at festivals, porches, weddings and churches in Tennessee.  Saylors moved to New England in the late 90's where she continued her education in Human Services and Social Work.  She became involved in the Rhode Island Songwriters Association mid 2000's. 
Michelle found solitude during the 2020 pandemic where she dedicated, to write, create and play music authentic to who she is as an artist. 
Saylors songwriting is rooted both physically and metaphorically by space and distance between small town Tennessee and coastal New England.
In July 2024,Michelle Saylors released her solo debut album titled “Hit the Creek” which features 10 original songs written solely by Saylors. Michelle plays guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, slide, keyboard, percussion and adds harmony vocals on the album. The album has been well-received by fans and continues to gain momentum on streaming platforms nationally.
